Rainbow Crow is an episodic virtual reality series produced by Baobab Studios. The series will be premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
UTURN VR is an immersive live action 360-degree comedy series, where viewers get to experience both sides of the gender divide. The 360 space is split between a female coder’s POV and her male boss’ POV. At any time during the story the viewer can choose which POV to follow by physically turning her/his body around 180 degrees. Both sides keep playing concurrently. You can watch the trailer here.
EXCHIMP is an All-In-One VR headset from Austria. It offers 2560 x 1440 resolution, up to 7 hours of battery life and weighs less than 400 grams. The headset will be launched on a Kickstarter campaign from April 28 to May 7. The prices start from €199 and goes up to €399.

‘Flying EYE’ is a drone that can shoot and automatically stitch 360-degree videos in 6K resolution with Blackmagic cameras. It also comes with the option to livestream to YouTube, Facebook or a custom app at a range of 5 miles. The drone will be debuted at the NAB 2017 show. Retail price is $75,000 USD.
VR Surgical Anatomy Module
VR Surgical Anatomy Module allows raw medical imaging data (e.g. CT/MRI scans) to be imported directly into Virtual Reality. Users can move, rotate the anatomy depicted, and also transverse or slice through the data to reveal internal structures such as vessels and ducts. EXA: The Infinite Instrument
EXA is a musical VR app to rapidly draw and customize new instruments, then using them to perform, loop, and create music in real-time. The designer of the app Zach Kinstner says, “My goal is to bring the experience/feel of playing a real-world instrument into a virtual space, with all its endless possibilities, and to encourage the creative “superpowers” that people gain in VR”.
