As if virtual reality porn wasn’t terrifying enough, we’re soon going to be assaulted by robot penises and cyber-vaginas while we watch. Business in VR porn is booming – and the next stage is ‘teledildonics’.
That’s robot penises and vaginas which attack you when you’re blindfolded, by the way.
Ian Paul of Naughty America said, ‘New revenue attributable to VR is up 350% year over year, and this year we now plan to offer integrated support for smart services toys from companies such as Kiiroo that offer haptic feedback in sync to the video.’
Other companies such as Cam4VR aim to follow suit, using ‘Kiiroo’ sex toys which let users ‘transmit’ sensations to other people while having VR sex.
This Kiiroo-made system lets one user – ahem – stimulate a cyber-penis, then the sensations are transmitted over the internet to a vibrating Fleshlight-style vagina device.
One early tester of the Kiiroo said, ‘It doesn’t feel like sex, and it doesn’t feel like wanking either—it’s totally different.’
Another company aims to go even further, and add smells to the VR experience – with an alarming-looking mask gizmo.
Camsoda’s ‘Ohroma’ is a VR smell mask so you can smell people’s genitals on webcam. There’s also smell capsules for ‘panties’, ‘breath’ and ‘body odour’, just to keep everything tasteful.
The Ohroma mask is made by sex webcam company Camsoda, and works with their VR webcam sessions – with a smartphone app which pairs with the mask.
The mask has two canisters with three cartridge slots – and the mask will heat up the cartridges and begin to produce various aromas.
Daron Lundeen, says, ‘Virtual reality figures to play a pivotal role in 2017 and we wanted to enhance the experience for our fans by introducing OhRoma which now allows users to smell what they are seeing and hearing.
