This may be the future of football as we know it. Sky Sports have decided to try Virtual Reality during tonight's coverage of Liverpool against West Ham on Monday Night Football and it really is magnificent.
Jamie Carragher was the man behind the glasses and well, he did a cracking job throughout.
He decided to analyse a build-up of play from Manchester City's win over Arsenal at the weekend.
Carragher focused on Arsenal defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, who struggled to deal with the pace and trickery of Raheem Sterling.
As you see in the below footage, Carragher runs through a moment when Sterling is through on goal.
This is brilliant insight from the guys over at Sky, even if it does look like the graphics from FIFA 2002.
Manchester City eventually went on to win the game 3-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Sergio Aguero, but many criticised the defending of Arsenal during and after the game.
Here's how social media reacted to the use of VR on Monday Night Football.
Do you think this should this be a regular feature on the programme?
