For its next big products, ZTE isn't crowdfunding cash - it's crowdfunding the ideas themselves, as part of its CSX Challenge. Some of the ideas are stranger than others, but the shortlist that ZET has come up with is filled with concepts we'd definitely get on board with.
None more so than the ZTE Fish VR, an augmented reality headset for wearing underwater. It sounds bonkers but the device, which aims to bring the coral reefs to your paddling pool, would be pretty neat in practice.
Only problem is that Nintendo already created a device called the Power Glove, and while it launched all the way back in 1989 and ended as a total failure, the creators of the latest namesake might want to come up with a new title.
There are some other neat concepts which you can check out here. For the next stage, ZTE is asking people to submit product concepts based on the shortlisted ideas. The deadline for that is 30 September, and ZTE will make a final vote on what it's actually going to build sometime between 12 and 19 October.
