Amazon has a heart for early adopters and offers a discount on the new Lenovo Mirage Solo Stand-alone VR headset in a bundle with the new VR camera.


Facebook pulled a fast one and beat Lenovo to the market with a stand-alone VR headset. The Oculus Go released on May 1. The more advanced and more expensive Lenovo Mirage Solo will ship tomorrow, May 5. The Mirage Solo beats the Oculus Go in tracking. You can scale the room, lean and duck with Lenovo's VR headset. The Oculus Go only offers head tracking but has the support of many more apps and content.


Amazon has started to take pre-orders for the new Lenovo Mirage Solo VR headset at amazon.com a while ago. Facebook skipped pre-order and released its $199 Oculus Go stand-alone VR headset right away earlier this week.


The Lenovo Mirage Solo and Camera bundle is on sale for $649.99 on amazon.com. This deal saves $50 compared to buying the Lenovo Mirage Solo stand-alone headset and the Lenovo VR camera separately.


Lenovo introduced the Mirage Solo at the CES 2018. The Mirage Solo HMD does not need a mobile phone or a PC for virtual reality experiences. Everything is built into the headset.


The Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream sells for $399.99. The Lenovo Mirage Camera is available for pre-order on Amazon as of March 25. The release date for the VR camera is also May 5.
