'Terminus' Makes A Stop At Heide Museum

Jess Johnson, who is featured in the current volume of Hi-Fructose Magazine, worked with Simon Ward for the massive virtual reality-driven exhibition “Terminus” at Heide Museum of Modern Art, with a choose-your-own adventure element to the installation. The exhibition kicks off this month and runs through March 1, 2020.

“Prepare yourself for a slippage of time and space as your journey propels you through spectacular cyber narratives: you will pass through Fleshold Crossing; take respite in Known Unknown; lose yourself within Scumm Engine; bravely face impending danger in the tower of Gog & Magog; and experience the brink of sensory overload in the psychedelic scenes of Tumblewych,” the museum says. “A number of drawings and textile works by Jess Johnson especially selected for Heide will also be displayed.”

The exhibition also features components of Johnson’s fashion collaborations and 2D work. See more on the museum’s site and Johnson’s page.
