Beasts Narrate London's History In New Exhib

Inspired by objects in the Museum of London collection, 'Beasts of London' is a fully immersive multi-sensory digital installation with video projection mapping created in partnership with Guildhall School. Here we go behind the scenes with the Museum of London team and Guildhall staff, students and alumni to find out how 'Beasts of London' was created.

Over 100 Guildhall students, staff and alumni were involved in the project, with video projection mapping created by Guildhall Video Design for Live Performance artists, Guildhall actors voicing characters, its production artists designing and building the experience and its composers creating the musical soundtrack, recorded by the Guildhall Session Orchestra.

The experience explores the fascinating role animals have played in shaping the capital, from the Roman era through Medieval London and right up to present day, narrated by the beasts themselves.
