Veteran developer Tetsuya Mizuguchi has recently come back under the spotlight with Rez Infinite for PlayStation VR.
Today the good folks at toco toco tv published one of their mini-documentary interviews on Mizuguchi-san, as he talks about Rez Infinite itself, his recent experience with virtual reality, and his inspiration, as usual also giving an intriguing look on his favorite places.
We also get a look at a suit created to convey vibrations from the game to the whole body, representing the beginning of Mizuguchi-san vision for the future. Virtual reality – according to the developer – is just a prelude to the real thing that is going to come at a later time.
In the meanwhile, if you want to see more of their charming work of Toco Toco, you can check out their videos on SWERY, Goichi Suda, Daisuke Ishiwatari , Keiichiro Toyama, UME, Katsura Hashino, Yoko Taro and Kazutoshi Iida. You can also consider the documentary on indie Japanese developers Branching Paths, created under the creative leadership of the same director, Anne Ferrero.
Rez Infinite is currently available for PS4, requiring PlayStation VR to be enjoyed.
