In other news, EA Mobile was reported to have celebrated the five-year anniversary of "The Sims Free Play."
It was recently reported that rumors have been circulating around that Electronic Arts is considering developing "The Sims 5" to be the first VR-supported title in its franchise, Latin Post learned.
It was mentioned therein that it has been years since the company has released an installment to the highly-acclaimed franchise and that the "The Sims 5" might be on its way. On top of a support for VR gaming, the source also hinted that fans are expecting the game to 360-degree capable, as well.
Also, it was pointed out that "The Sims 4" didn't quite receive that much success as Electronic Arts would have expected. As such, "The Sims 5" having a support for VR gaming and 360-degree capabilities might be the thing they would need for the franchise to come back.
However, the source also took note of the fact that "The Sims 5" will only be considered to be developed if Electronic Arts has already reached their quota for "The Sims 4." AS such, fans might have to wait a bit more since it was said that "The Sims 4" hasn't been getting that much attention due to the competition with other games and other platforms.
In other news, it was reported that EA Mobile celebrated the five-year anniversary of "The Sims Free Play," Social Times noted. The game has been in the market for five years and EA has released an info-graphic that shows to fans some statistics regarding the success of "The Sims Free Play."
It was also suggested by the source that fans can log-in to their accounts for "The Sims Free Play" to be able to collect a free in-game present.
