Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Delayed To July In Japan
May 1, 2017

Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair, the October 2016-announced PlayStation VR game from Solid Sphere, has been delayed from its previously announced winter release window in Japan to this July, the developer announced.

The company cited “various circumstances” for the delay.

The virtual reality game is based on Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s Kaiji manga series, specifically an experience of the “steel beam crossing” story parts from the “Castle of Despair” arc. Players will become a contestant in the steel beam crossing, taking on the challenge with characters like Kaiji, Sahara, and Ishida. Famous scenes from the original work will also appear.
