Crazy Machines VR will be released later this month on Steam for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality, Wild River and FAKT Software GmbH today announced.
According to the publisher and the developer, the debut VR title in the long-standing puzzle franchise will be made available from October 25.
The studio has plans to release the title on PlayStation VR, though an official release date has not been confirmed.
Crazy Machines VR is broken into five separate chapters and features forty playable levels. Players will have a robot companion alongside them, which will provide them with clues when it comes to solving different puzzles.
“The special requirements of VR games were very much the focus during development of Crazy Machines VR and the game has been optimized to deliver the best experience across [all] platforms,” a spokesperson said.
“Thanks to intuitive controls in a virtual environment, the trademark physics and machine puzzles are experienced from a whole new perspective.
“For the first time in the history of the franchise, players are able to get a real hands-on feeling when experimenting with elaborate apparatuses and trying to solve intricate brainteasers.”
