NextVR have announced that this Sunday, August 19th, they will be broadcasting two live events in VR that marks a first for the company. Entitled Knock Out Live From Tokyo, the event is a premier kickboxing even that spans from flyweight to super-lightweight and they are NextVR’s first broadcast from Asia. Viewers will be able to put on their headset and catch the event live and hours later enjoy the first WWE VR broadcast on the platform as well. This year NextVR have produced VR highlights from WrestleMania and Fastlane. With the Summer Slam Kickoff, it will be the first live broadcast for the platform.
Both of these NextVR broadcasts will also be simulcast in Oculus Venues where friends can interact in the arena in real time with each other as they watch the events. The Knock Out Live From Tokyowill be taking place on Sunday, August 19th, 12am (PT) with the WWE Summer Slam Kickoff happening the same day at 2pm (PT).
