The film deals with topics such as immigration and racial discrimination in the United States.
Brooklyn Experience is an Argentinean immersive feature film directed by José Celestino Campusano and co-produced by Virtual 360 with Gabriel Pomeraniec's photography director. Shot in the United States in 2017, it had its recent world premiere with very good acceptance at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.
It's possible to watch it from April 11 to 22, from 3 pm to 8 pm, in the Virtual Reality space at Plaza Francia (Buenos Aires / Argentina) during BAFICI (Buenos Aires Independent film festival).
About José Celestino Campusano.
Argentinean Producer, Director and Screenwriter, José Celestino Campusano was born in Buenos Aires; brother and son of boxers, he studied cinematography in the Instituto de Cine de Avellaneda.
During the 80's and part of the 90's he made his first contributions into filmmaking and the underground literature scene. José nourishes his projects with varied suburban myths, integrating invisibilized layer of society into the areas of content, production, acting and outreach. He has been the main promoter of the network of audiovisual clusters, that proposes the development of a sustainable cinema based on a strong rooting in co-production outside the support of conventional funds. The network has more than 6 cluster around the world (Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, México, Uruguay).
