After a successful showcase in 2018, Imverse is presenting a new experience called INTERLOOPED. It will world premiere at the festival in Park City, USA in January 2019.
Written, directed, and performed by artist Maria Guta, INTERLOOPED is the world's very first live multi-user volumetric mixed reality installation.
The live integration of multiple people in full 3D is achieved thanks to the voxel foundation of our engine. Called Imverse LiveStage, this capability will be released privately as a separate product in 2019, allowing studios to bring social VR to the next level thanks to the integration of real-time photorealistic subjects in the virtual world.
LiveMaker is now publicly available:
Last October, Imverse released the public beta of Imverse LiveMaker, their first software built from their engine. It is a set of modeling and rendering tools to turn 2D into 3D spaces directly within your headset, sometimes referred to as "The Photoshop of VR".
This release comes with many new elements, such as the import of external 2D videos and 3D files including photogrammetry. The new editing features include shadings, re-texturing, painting, dynamic lighting, and material reflections. Exports in standard 3D formats are compatible with any workflow (obj, fbx, collada).
