There is a safari in the wilds of Arizona, with lions, tigers and, yes, bears. Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde does just put the animals on display; it offers up-close and personal encounters with some of nature’s fiercest predators.
Enter VRtually There, a weekly video series from the USA TODAY network. Using some of the latest state-of-the-art virtual reality technology, they’re giving us a 360 degree first-hand look at bear cub feeding time at Out of Africa Wildlife Park
Feeding the bear cubs is a special treat. These two cubs were orphaned and are living with caretakers at the park. They eat a variety of foods, but they’re especially keen on oranges.
They may look cute and cuddly now, but when they are fully grown, they will weigh between 400-500 pounds – which should at least make opening oranges easier.
Check out the full video below, which also includes a behind-the-sense look at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. To get the epic 360 degree experience, download the USA TODAY app and search for the video in the “VR” section, or view the video below in your phone’s YouTube app.
