There’s a surge of music videos capitalizing virtual reality, as the technology goes mainstream each day.
Today, the American heavy metal band ‘Disturbed’ launched a stunning 360 degree virtual reality experience for the cover version of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.”
Set in a dystopian world, the VR experience was produced by Dekker Dreyer, and directed by Matt Mahurin.
“It was a thrill, a challenge and maybe a bit ironic to use the innovative and immersive world of VR to explore the disconnect of direct human connection that results from the addictive world of social media,” said Director Matt Mahurin in a written statement.
Fans who have access to a VR headset can get the full experience via theLittlStar application or watch the 360 degree clip on LittlStar’s website.
