VR Startups Can Now Apply For Bootcamp In Berlin

TECH RALLY, a new virtual reality initiative from Germany, is inviting 14 teams or individuals to showcase their VR hardware or software projects in Berlin.


Selected 14 teams will have the chance to develop their business strategy and expand their professional network and have the chance to present their projects on stage at the MEDIA CONVENTION BERLIN 2017.


The bootcamp program is scheduled for one week in May. According to the organization site, submitting to the event is free and open for companies (or individuals) based in the European Union.


In order to submit to the program, participants must work in the VR hardware or software areas and have a prototype or beta available to be public.


The organization will cover accommodation costs of seven nights for up to two people per team and reimburse travel expenses up to 150 euros.


The event is organized by Startup Germany e.V. in collaboration with VR NOW CON and funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH. Submissions will be open on TECH RALLY website before March 19, 2017. (23:50 UTC +1.)
