Three, Southern California investors--Qualcomm Ventures, Disney, and the United Talent Agency--have backed the developer of a network of "experience centers" focused on virtual reality entertainment, as part of a newly disclosed Series A Funding.

Utah-based The VOID, which operates location-based "experience centers" focused on new technology, said this morning that it received a funding round sometime last year which was led by Fidelity Management and Research Company, and also included Qualcomm Ventures, Verizon Ventures, Disney, Cinemark, and Genting Malaysia, plus Shanda International Group, Meraas, Ithaca Media Ventures, Lion Capital, Madison Wells, Pickled Entertainment, Fair Capital, and United Talent Agency.
