Jaunt Inc., the industry leader in cinematic virtual reality (VR), today announced that it has appointed Fabrice Cantou as Chief Financial Officer. He joins the company effective today and will report directly to Jaunt’s president and CEO, George Kliavkoff.
Cantou brings ample experience in international finance with emphasis at the intersection of media, technology and telecoms. As the CFO of Dailymotion, he saw the company through tremendous growth – reaching 300M viewers and delivering 3B views per month – fundraising and an eventual sale to Orange and then to Vivendi. Cantou holds an MBA from Kedge Business School (France) and HES (Netherlands), as well as a Master’s Degree from the Media Business School (Spain).
“We are thrilled to have Fabrice join our global management team. He offers in-depth experience and world-class leadership skills, a perfect complement to our innovative management team,” said Kliavkoff. “As we look to 2017, and the tremendous growth opportunity for Jaunt in the global VR market, having Fabrice on board will be invaluable. I look forward to working hand-in-hand as we embark on this pivotal year.”
