As the force behind events like Electric Daisy Carnival, Beyond Wonderland, and Nocturnal Wonderland, Insomniac has long been at the forefront of festival innovation. The Pasqualle Rotella-helmed juggernaut is never one to sit idly by, exemplified by the quick changes made to its flagship event, EDC, following its 2017 iteration.
Now, the company announced a new partnership with LiveXLive to expand the ways in which fans can experience Insomniac’s festivals. LiveXLive will use its expertise in live video streaming, virtual reality, augmented reality, and video-on-demand to deliver Insomniac’s stable of events to its platform.
“This collaboration with LiveXLive is a key part of our mission to expand not just EDC but other Insomniac experiences into key global markets, from Asia and Europe to Latin America and beyond. I’m excited for people around the world to look through this unique lens and experience the unity and positivity that this culture promotes,” said Rotella.
Set to launch with a dedicated channel during EDC Las Vegas, the Insomniac Channel will treat fans to behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive interviews, and performances from some of the biggest names in electronic music — broadcast to a truly global audience.
From its start with EDC Las Vegas, the partnership is set to expand and include over 50 Insomniac festivals and events.
