The startup Mespper Tecnologia, incubated at the Campo Bom unit of Feevale Techpark Brazil, is the only Brazilian company to be chosen to be the Technical Mentor of the Qualcomm 2020 World Contest. This is the largest international competition for Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, held by the giant Qualcomm, which will announce its winner in August this year, in China.
Only two companies in the world were invited to the Technical Mentoring of the competition, a Chinese company and the Brazilian startup Mespper.
Last year, the Mespper stood out for winning the same contest, promoted by Pico Interactive and Qualcomm, in China, and being selected to distribute its software to the Chinese market.
He also participated in StartOut Brasil - Missão Xangai, a federal government program to support the insertion of Brazilian startups in the most promising innovation ecosystems in the world.
“... Participating in a Contest like this brings a great technical responsibility in the analysis of several excellent works of Virtual and Augmented Reality. We were given that responsibility for being champions last year, with the indispensable support of Feevale Techpark. We hope to do a good job and count on everyone's help ... ”, projects Messias de Paula Pereira, founder of Mespper.
The Qualcomm 2020 World Contest is open to companies from all over the world, including Brazilians and the park, who work with VR and AR. Registrations can be made until 06/30, through the website https://xr.qualcomm-challenge.com/ or Wechat ID: mespper_oficial
