22,7°C wins S.C.A.M.'s new storytelling award - Directors: Jan Kounen, Molécule, Amaury La Burthe
The Paris NewImages Festival has become the capital of digital creation and digital world with a keyword: encourage the audacity of directors, producers and decision-makers from around the world. This is particularly the case for Taïwan, special guest 2019.
This year, NewImages Festival selected 12 projects out of the hundred that had been submitted for the VR Competition. The Jury consists of 4 leading figures of the audiovisual sector and artistic creation: filmmaker Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World) who presided the Jury, choreographer and director Blanca Li, producer Katie Calhoon (Legendary Entertainment) and the artist Hsien-Chein Huang.
The jury gave out the 3 following awards:

VR RESIDENCY NEWIMAGES - KAOHSIUNG FESTIVAL 2019
Director: Yann Deval
The winner will be able to realize his VR experience as part of a 3-month stay in Taïwan and he will receive a grant of €30,000.
PXN INTERNATIONAL PRIZE

This prize in partnership with PXN Association rewards the best non-XR digital experience
S.C.A.M. PRIZE FOR NEW STORYTELLING

This prize rewards a French immersive work fo VR or AR (interactive or not) and worth €5,000.
