VRrOOm is eager to promote new XR talents - and one of them is a mysterious man called Eric, who currently resides in the U.S. and is creating horror short movies in 360 VR besides his normal daily activities.
Even though his background is in health he has developed a deep fascination for content creation in 360. This is the reason why he created a YouTube channel, Player One 360, 4 months ago only.
His curiosity for 360 videos started about 3 years ago with a 360 camera he bought as he was planning for a trip. At first, he wanted to share his videos with family so when he came back from his trip, he started watching tutorials about how to edit 360 videos. He really enjoyed it and got more curious about 360 technology, keeping learning about how to edit in Adobe premiere.
Being a big movie fan also passionate about technology, when he saw a 360 video done with Unity about 5 months ago, he was immediately hooked, and since then has been learning more and more about Unity.
As Eric says: "I feel like a kid again, being able to explore my imagination and create content feels really cool, I discover my passion and feel grateful to know what I want to do going forward."
And you did a great job, Eric, at making us feel like we are kids again, too, when we watched your movies! To watch a selection of Eric's horror short films on the VRrOOm XR platform, please download the app by clicking on the links below:
Eric's films have a simple format as they are more about exploring polished yet spooky environments, and he is very good at creating jump scares based on sound and camera movements effects. So we are happy to showcase four of his horror short films on our VRrOOm XR platform from February 17 to March 18, 2020, here's the list below :
