Hermès debuted its “Year of Innovation” theme earlier this year. The reason behind the theme is plain and simple. Innovation is the result of a constantly renewed creative gesture and it accompanies the momentum and spontaneity of creation while remaining true to the past. Innovation is the perpetual motion of the house’s spirit.
Continuing its Innovation theme, Hermès is now using augmented reality for its lookbook. By simply scanning a barcode using your mobile phone’s camera, selected objects with yellow star marks that are in the lookbook will come to life. It is truly a refreshment for the eyes to experience the augmented reality for a complete retail experience in these challenging times.
